In 2010 Millennium Kids was invited to join the NGO reporting process on the Rights of the Child at the UN in Geneva. Kids had been talking up their concerns about climate change and were worried the government of the day wasn’t taking their concerns seriously. Kids were keen to have a say about what they thought should be on the agenda. Kids were keen to have adults listen to their ideas for change and in the pre hearing sessions Millennium Kids was given an opportunity to present their your led programs, designed for kids by kids. MK CEO Cat and Locky Cooke, ICEA Founder, joined the delegates in Geneva to support the youth agenda.
