The Impact
Irreversible loss of wildlife for future generations
Our planet is interconnected. Wildlife makes our planet interesting. Kids want to have a world where wildlife is cared for and respected. They want us to make wise choices about where our products come from. They want us to ask whether wildlife has been impacted by our choices.
Check out the Red List and find out how you can help native animals under threat near you.
The Solution
Fall in love with your wild spaces and the wildlife in them
Our Millennium Kids teams are looking for innovative solutions. Elizabeth is designing a cat campaign for her suburb.
Here are some Kids ideas:
- Keep your cat inside
- Educate your neighbours
- Learn about the local wildlife in your area and create a garden plan to ensure they have food to eat
- Help look after your local bushland or wetland
- Start a Green Lab in your area and let people know you care
- Make sure you keep your dog on a lead in wildlife zones
- Donate to a native animal rehabilitation centre or breeding program
- Run a fundraiser to raise funds for organisations that purchase bushland and forest and protect it for the future.
