Become a Kid Member
Are you 10 to 24 years old? Do you want to have a say about the things you care about? Membership gets you a mentor, online support for your project idea and access to MK Labs each month to shape the future. Members have voting rights and can attend Youth Board and Council meetings.

Kid Membership $20.00 annually
Youth Board
Want to become a Youth Board member, run a MK Lab and help design the future? The Youth Board is the engine room of Millennium Kids, where decisions are made and plans are developed and ignited by young people.
The Youth Board has 15 members aged 10 – 24 years, elected annually at the AGM. The Youth Board meets monthly, reporting to the Council on ideas for new projects and campaigns. The Youth Board listens to young people and actions ideas to create a healthy environment for all.
Youth Board members must be members of Millennium Kids.
Adult Members
If you are over 24 years you can become an Adult Member. Join a sub committee, help the kids make their projects real. We are a member based organisation and we need your membership, skills and expertise to help the Kids get access to expert information. Poets, futurists, artists, scientists, Indigenous and multi cultural representatives are needed to broaden are knowledge base. Download the adult membership form below.
Adult Membership $100.00 annually
Council
The Council meets monthly to work with the Youth Board to help them understand the governance of running a not for profit and to help them action their plans. There are 8 Council members who are 25 years and over. Millennium Kids has a Council because our some of our Youth Board members are under 18 years. The Council supports the Youth Board by managing governance, duty of care and fiscal management. If this sounds like something that would interest you please complete an Expression of Interest form to let us know about the skills you have that would be useful to the running of MK. We will contact you to set up a meeting to discuss we can work together to support Millennium Kids.
MK Labs
MK Labs are designed by the Youth Board and are open to young people who care about the environment. Each third Sunday of the month an action-based program is developed. These workshops are open to members and non members. Most workshops are free but sometimes there is a fee depending on program content. Check the calendar for details.

Accepting the Banksia Award Community and Charity 2020 award made me so proud of MK and everything we have achieved as a community.
