Schools are invited to take part in upcoming Environmental Youth Forums during Science Week 2026!
Wheatbelt NRM, in partnership with Millennium Kids, is seeking Expressions of Interest from schools across the region for our upcoming Youth Environmental Forums.
These sessions will give students the opportunity to contribute to the review of the Regional NRM Plan for the Avon River Basin. This is a chance for young people to share their perspectives on issues such climate, biodiversity, water and sustainable agriculture in the Wheatbelt. The information collected at these forums will help create change in the region for years to come.
Students will also build confidence in communication and critical thinking, as well as connecting to others who have similar interests.
Participation is open to students with a genuine interest in environmental or land management issues.
