The Impact
Deforestation impacts wildlife and rainfall
A treeless city is a noisy city. Air pollution from tree loss affects our health. Loss of trees affects our water sources and in a storm there is no where for water to go but down the drain. Tree loss means biodiversity loss with fewer places for our native animals to live, eat and breed. Kids love trees. They provide shade and a place to ponder and climb. Trees are great for our health and well being.
The Solution
From little seeds big trees grow
Kids want everyone to get outdoors and fall in love with a tree. They want lots of space dedicated to parks and wild places and these precious places protected for the future. They want schools to consider nature play in their school grounds and adopt bushland for long term science and art projects. They want everyone to work together to create a clean, green future. Lots of trees means less demand for energy for cooling.
