How to become a council member
The Council meets monthly to work with the Youth Board to help them understand the governance of running a not for profit and to help them action their plans. There are 8 Council members who are 25 years and over. Millennium Kids has a Council because our some of our Youth Board members are under 18 years. The Council supports the Youth Board by managing governance, duty of care and fiscal management. If this sounds like something that would interest you please complete an Expression of Interest form to let us know about the skills you have that would be useful to the running of MK. We will contact you to set up a meeting to discuss we can work together to support Millennium Kids.

“Hi, my name is Isabella. I am a Millennium Kids mentor. I am an Architect student at UWA. I have been involved with Millennium Kids since I was a Kid. Now I help Kids plan their projects, ask stretchy questions and give them project feedback. I helped the Edulis team think about their logo design. Edulis are developing an edible cutlery brand. I also love going on the Kids on Country program to listen to the Coolgardie Kids and help make their projects real.”
