Join us for a day at Bold Park and Perry Lakes. We have been exploring wetlands on the Whadjuk Walking Trails so this MK Lab we’ll be enjoy a bush walk on some of the trails in and around Bold Park and Perry Lakes. We will do a bird survey, some art, check out the insects and delve into the indigenous history of the area. The area has a rich history and we will map the sites and see what we can learn as we walk the trails. Young people can use this session to build on their own ideas for habitat protection in their area.
What to bring: Binoculars, (we have some too), magnifying glass if you have one, a picnic lunch, a hat and water bottle, pencil and note pad
Meet at Camel Carpark on Perry Lakes Drive at 10.00am.
