Join us for a day to explore urban canopy through indigenous story telling, art and science at Piney Lakes Environmental Education Centre on 11 April, 10.00am – 2.30pm.
Millennium Kids will bring 30 young people together to make paint from plants, discover the birds and animals that live in the bush and create a future tree planting plan for the area.
Working alongside indigenous artist, Marli, kids will create an art piece to share their ideas for the future as part of Propel Youth Arts WA for the KickstART Festival Youth Week WA.
The activities are run by MK youth facilitators, scientists and artists and are suitable for children and young people, aged 8 – 16 years.
